Introducing Roxy's Bar and Grille, a delightful restaurant located at 11 Kettle Creek Rd, Toms River, NJ. Roxy's offers a fantastic dining experience with its delectable menu and exceptional service. Known for its impeccable execution, the scallops at Roxy's are truly a standout feature, with a generous portion and impressive size. The pizzas, cheesesteaks, chicken sandwiches, and boneless buffalo wings also receive high praise, despite their humble appearances. The attentive staff, led by the friendly waiter Kyle and efficient busboys, create a pleasant and efficient dining atmosphere. Although currently in soft opening mode, Roxy's demonstrates promising potential. While minor hiccups such as a wait time discrepancy and cold french fries were noted, they are expected to be resolved as the restaurant fine-tunes its operations. Overall, the flavors at Roxy's Bar and Grille far exceeded expectations, leaving patrons eager to return for more.

Love the decor inside. Much brighter and more welcoming than Charlie Brown's. Our server was excellent, very friendly and informative. I thought the food was pretty good. I had the fish and chips which was flaky and tender with crispy fries. The onion soup was also very good. My companion had pizza which he thought to be tasty and prepared well, not soggy, nice and crisp. I would like to go back to try other items on the menu that caught my eye. They have entertainment at night. They just opened, so giving them a little time to get into their groove and shoot for 5 stars. 👍
The scallops were amazing. The scallops were twice the size and risotto portion was significantly bigger than the same dish at B2 bistro. This dish was perfectly executed.
Also great was the pizza, cheesesteak, chicken sandwich, and boneless buffalo wings (even though the wings didn't look impressive, the flavor was on point). Our waiter Kyle was friendly and quick to get anything we needed. Bus boys were everywhere, and empty plates were picked up quickly.
This restaurant is still in soft opening mode so here is what could improve:
1. We were told a half hour wait and we gave our cell phone number. We checked in a half hour later to get a status check, and we were told our table had been ready for 15 minutes. Not a big deal. A small bug to be worked out.
2. The french fries with the burger were cold.
3. The seafood soup was good but not memorable.
Overall: For a restaurant that has not been open very long, we are very very impressed. The flavor of the food far exceed our expectations. We will definitely be back again soon.
Note: The picture of the burger looks bare because we have a very picky eater who only wanted cheese and lettuce. While they commented that the bun to burger ratio was off, they devoured the burger with nothing but compliments about how good it tasted.
My parents and I stopped in for an early dinner on a Friday night and we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere! We loved the appetizers (the wings are great) and our burgers were delicious and perfectly cooked. It’s tough to find a spot that can just do a really good burger! We also liked our waitress, Sera, and the fact that it wasn’t too loud in there. I agree with some other reviews that say they could help decrease the open space when you walk in (maybe some couches and area rugs) to make it more inviting. The happy hour prices were also awesome so I hope they continue to offer that. We will definitely be back!
Everyone was lovely! Great atmosphere! We could actually hear each other talking, which is the best! And the service! Wonderful! Quick food delivery from kitchen to table. Definitely recommend!
The real deal! Delicious food (had the Bourbon Burger) and outstanding Bloody Marys! Love the bartender (didn’t get his name). Will be back!
Our (my mom and I) first experience at this restaurant was fantastic. The atmosphere was welcoming and very nice. The food was incredible, the presentation of the food was exquisite. Our server Lexi was so sweet and on top of everything. Couldn't have asked for a better server. I can't wait to bring my entire family here.
My girlfriend and I wanted to dine here to see how Roxy's would be after it was Charlie Brown's...
The owners of Roxy's did a fabulous job! We were seated at a table for two near the middle of the dining room!
Our server Lilly was super nice, and we had our order in no time!
I ordered the Orecchiette Pasta with 🥦 Broccoli Rabe and Sausage. It was out of this world! It was 🔥 hot and spicy, which I enjoyed it that way. Some may find the dish to be on the spicy side, so be aware.
My girlfriend ordered the Godfather Italian Cheesesteak Sandwich 🥪 and it was huge and delicious.
The portions were so big that we had to take home half of each dish.
I wanted to see what the dessert menu was like, and I was blown away!
Roxy's Bar & Grille carries the famous Bindi Desserts!!!
There is no mention of that on the menu, but here is how I know...
I used to represent Bindi desserts in southern California. When I saw my favorites on the menu, I was ecstatic!
My biggest seller in California was the Frutti Di Bosco! So you know that I was going to order it! I definitely urge you to do the same, and trust me, they have a number of other items to meet your sweet tooth needs.
We strongly recommend dining at Roxy's. They have a great beer, wine, and mixed drinks menu to go with a generous food menu! By the way, Roxy's is planning to expand their menu in the near future, which is culinary music to my ears!
The wings were good. My husband wasn't thrilled with his sandwich. I had a bite, and I thought it was good.
The only thing we didn't like was. When we go out, we pay cash. The bartender …
